Digital Wallet

A wallet interface concept that makes balances, transactions and primary actions readable, organised and trustworthy.

Digital Wallet is a finance-oriented mobile interface concept designed to make balances, actions and transaction visibility feel more controlled and readable. Financial products earn trust through clarity, so KAPAT prioritised readable data display, cleaner action grouping and a more reassuring product tone. The work is an interface concept rather than a deployed product.

Business Context

A financial product where the interface itself is the trust signal.

A wallet app is opened to answer simple questions: what is the balance, what has happened recently, and what can be done next. Everyday users judge the product on how quickly and calmly those questions are answered. Dense or ambiguous screens read as risk, whatever the underlying service.

The concept therefore concentrates on information hierarchy and tone: balance and transaction states presented clearly, primary actions grouped logically, and a controlled visual language for trust-sensitive screens, built from components that can carry the product as it grows.

The Challenge

Make financial balances, transactions and primary wallet actions feel readable, organised and trustworthy for everyday users.

01

Hierarchy for key financial actions

The most common wallet actions had to be immediately findable and clearly ranked above secondary options.

02

Readable balance and transaction states

Balances and transaction lists needed layouts that stay legible whatever state the account is in.

03

Controlled tone for trust-sensitive screens

Screens dealing with money had to feel calm and deliberate, with no visual noise competing with the figures.

04

Reusable components for growth

The trust-sensitive components had to be reusable so that new features inherit the same discipline.

KAPAT Approach

How KAPAT approached the work.

  1. 01

    Discover

Identified the questions everyday users bring to a wallet and the actions they take most often.

  2. 02

    Structure

Defined the information hierarchy for balances, transactions and actions across the core screens.

  3. 03

    Design

Designed data visibility patterns and action groupings in a controlled, reassuring visual tone.

  4. 04

    Build

Produced the concept screens from a reusable component set suited to future product growth.

  5. 05

    Refine

Reviewed every trust-sensitive screen for readability and consistency and simplified where needed.

What The Concept Covers

What the concept covers.

01

Finance screen design

Core wallet screens designed so that balances and transactions read clearly at a glance.

02

Data visibility patterns

Layouts for balance and transaction states that keep financial data legible and unambiguous.

03

Action grouping and hierarchy

Primary wallet actions grouped logically and ranked clearly above secondary options.

04

Mobile product consistency

Reusable trust-sensitive components that keep the interface consistent as the product grows.

Design concept

This is a design concept: no system was deployed, so there is no outcome to report. The screens show the interaction direction KAPAT proposed.
